Legacy to Landscape – Leaf Through the Past Landscape Walk, Shute

Step back in time to explore the medieval deer park, part of the  historic estate at Shute and enjoy its  wildlife and hear more about its fascinating history. If raining, fields get very wet, so walk will be to the Turkey Oak at New Shute House.  It’s the opening event to the Shute Literature and Landscape Festival  2018. Legacy to Landscape is a three year community heritage project celebrating the wildlife and history of a hidden area of landscape in East Devon defined by the 1781 historic Shute Estate map.
