Saturday 5 May at 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Richard Edmonds, geologist who led excellent walk to Musbury Castle Hillfort to explain how the Legacy landscape was formed, will reveal his recent work on trying to understand how Goat Island and the Chasm formed. ‘The Bindon Landslide of Christmas Eve 1839 ( Undercliffs National Nature Reserve)is one of the most famous landslides in the World, yet there is no agreement on how it may have formed. Recent advances in aerial photography and laser mapping have provided a wealth of new data and offer new insights.
