Put a note in your diary, as this great retro event is coming to Wiscombe and Colyford. A non-competitive touring assembly designed to celebrate the great RAC Rallies of the past. A long list of the greats from motor rallying in the past will be passing through Colyford and on to Wiscombe hill climb starting around 11:00 on Saturday 20 Oct. The full event starts in Bath and runs around many well known rallying venues including Wiscombe, Cricket St. Thomas and Porlock Toll Road. Wiscombe is the spectating area, there is a passage control at Colyford Filling Station where cars will stop to receive a signature. Entry to Wiscombe will cost £5.00 per head and spectators are recommended to be there early! Cars to be seen include some of the favourite “exotics”; Lancia Stratos, Audi Quattro and Alpine A110 as well as Minis, Escorts, Imps and Saabs. Drivers will include Stig Blomquist, Jimmy MacRae, Dai Llewellin, Rosemary Smith and Louise Aitken-Walker. Remember this is non-competitive but even standing still these cars are exciting!
