An exciting and useful resource for schools, young peoples groups and families to use when exploring the landscape. A pack of cards with a difference, helps bring history to life, by illustrating and describing significant events which may have been seen by King Johns Oak over the past nine centuries it has been reigning over the historic Shute estate landscape. Instructions on how to use the pack are included. Available from the website as a downloadable pdf. This activity will have it’s first use, by students from Shute Primary School at the end of March on their spring visit to the medieval deer park. Free packs are available to school and young peoples groups. A short movie explains the pack.
