Simon Armitage, Poet Laureate is coming to Colyton Library on Saturday March 26th and will give a reading between 3pm and 4pm accompanied by Devon born eco poet Elizabeth-Jane Burnett and 3 prize winning poets from local secondary schools.
The event is also being live streamed to St Andrew’s Church in Colyton so that members of the local community can come together to watch the event on a large screen. There will be refreshments after the event, and an exhibition of the work of local young poets and artists on an environmental theme. (This exhibition will remain in the Church for a week).
