The Garden Shop and Café

If you are after a little retail therapy, then The Garden Shop has an impressive range of gifts, many of which are Fair Trade, indoor plants, home-wares (including many handmade locally in our artisan corner), and even presents for men! We also have a lovely range of greeting cards for probably almost any occasion you can think of!The plant area has been stocked with a wonderful range of locally sourced shrubs, perennials, alpines, bedding and roses, and one of the most extensive ranges of herbs and edibles around. We compliment the plants with a variety of seeds (Franchi seeds are grown without the use of neonicotinoids for bee lovers), seasonal bulbs, tubers and corms, garden tools, pest control (organic and chemical), fertilisers, composts and a great range of frost-resistant Italian pots. We also offer an array of bird food, feeders, nest boxes and sundries. If you want something you can’t see on our shelves please contact us as we have regular deliveries and our suppliers hold more stock than we do.

Our lovely Café serves coffee by Cawardines (delicious!), Somerset tea, soft drinks, breakfasts, light lunches, snacks, our (oh so) wonderful cakes and ice creams from Baboo in Bridport! Seating is available indoors or outside among the flowers, and dogs are very welcome in or out.
