We bake hand made sourdough bread on the premises, using a range of flours including Organic Whole White & Spelt and depending on time of year would usually include such loaves as Bear Boule, Bear-ly White, Sundried Tomato & Oregano Boule and 50% Spelt Tin Loaf. Keep an eye out for our Slow Proved Organic Loaf and our Honey & Raisin Boule.
Our old school donuts have become renowned and share counter space with danishes and such. Great with our ‘bean to cup’ coffee or mug of tea.
We strive to source as many ingredients as possible from West Country producers.
We have two comfortable rooms above the bakery, Bear House B&B, both en-suite. The only B&B where you can have breakfast freshly cooked to order in the Bakery and be woken with the smell of fresh baked bread and good coffee.
