Our Grade 2 listed self catering holiday cottages in Devon were awarded “4 Stars” by Cottages.com this year, and are situated in a secluded area well away from noise pollution in the picturesque Axe Valley, which is on the South Devon coast between the resorts of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis which are part of the World Heritage Coastline and in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.Our rental properties near Colyton, which are listed in the Doomsday Book of 1086, offer views of green fields and the freedom of tranquil woodland walks, farm tours, nature trails and picnic sites, where you could encounter farm animals such as ewes and their lambs peacefully munching grass, or even Nobby – our fully grown 7 foot tall ostrich – the World’s largest flightless bird – who may even entertain you with his crazy mating dance !!

4 spacious cottages sleep 2-10 people and include 4 Poster Beds, ensuite bathrooms, underfloor heating, jacuzzi, log fires, wooden beams and magnificent views. Heating and hot water is supplied by a large 100kw Biomass Wood boiler and electricity by a large array of 50kw Solar Panels. All that makes us almost as Green as the grass that grows here !
We are centrally placed near the A3052 to visit many of the South West’s attractions.
